Local Life

Island Life on Hilton Head and in Bluffton

As Hilton Head Island and Bluffton grew in the late 2010s, Local Life covered Lowcountry living closely. A 2017 holiday issue looked at the technology in our daily lives. In 2018 the magazine toasted 50 years of the Heritage, picked out dream boats and followed New Jersey native Karen Moraghan as she got to know palmettos and pollen. By 2019 the stories had turned to life at the beach, where the shore is the backyard, and to the Lowcountry's crafters, the people who make things by hand.
